CONSTRUCTION
As an Architect, I have managed over 1,000 diverse projects on behalf of my clients. The extent of my Construction Management experience serves as the foundation of my Construction Company, Build M Construction.

TESTIMONY
I have testified on behalf of a General Contractor who was wrongfully sued for Construction Defects. My client won his countersuit.
I assisted a Commercial Property Owner in a contract dispute against a General Contractor, demonstrating that they had seriously overcharged my client and failed to perform under the contract. The case was settled in favor of my client.
I testified before the Washington State Shoreline Hearing Board (SHB) in defense of my own coastal hotel development. I became expert in view impingement by creating a computer-generated technical model of the hotel and clearly demonstrated our minimal impact on views from upland properties. The SHB decision in my favor created new case law regarding view impingement, and also changed SHB's interpretation of its own jurisdiction to ONLY 200' beyond the Mean High High Tide line.
I served an attorney on a case in Arizona where a contract worker had been run over by a semi truck on private property. Through my demonstration of the vehicle tracking path and lines of sight, I demonstrated that the fatal accident was avoidable and that the property owner had foreknowledge of inadequate roadway design. The case was settled on behalf of my clients.
